Understand your readiness score

Your “% ready” is the share of your trip's items you've packed — checked ÷ total across every section. The green ring fills and the number counts up live as you pack, and the home screen surfaces what's still missing so the score is actionable, not just a number.

Alba reduces the whole question of “am I ready?” to one honest number. It isn't a guess or a vibe — it's a direct count, which is why you can trust it the night before a flight.

Step by step

  1. Every item counts. Each item you check off counts toward the percentage, across all of your trip's sections.
  2. The ring fills proportionally. The green readiness ring fills in proportion to how much you've packed; 100% means everything is packed.
  3. What's missing stays visible. The home screen lists what's still to pack, so the score always points you at the next thing to do.

Questions & troubleshooting

Can I get the number up faster?

Remove items you genuinely won't bring. Readiness reflects your list, so trimming it is legitimate — the goal is an accurate picture of your trip, not a padded one.

What's the difference between a section and an item?

A section is a group like Essentials or Travel docs; an item is a single thing to pack, like a passport or charger. Sections collapse so you can focus on what's left.
