What is a nonstop flight?

Also called direct flight

A nonstop flight flies straight from origin to destination with no stops. A direct flight is often confused with it, but 'direct' only means the flight number doesn't change — it can still land somewhere en route, so a nonstop is the genuinely no-stops option.
