What is a merino wool?
Also called merino
Merino wool is a fine, soft wool prized for travel clothing because it regulates temperature, wicks moisture, and resists odour — so a merino top can be re-worn for days without washing. That makes it a favourite for one-bag and carry-on-only packing.
The odour resistance is the packing win: fewer changes of clothes means a lighter bag, so a couple of merino layers can replace a stack of cotton tees.
