What is a etias?
Also called Europe travel authorisation
ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is an online travel authorisation that visa-exempt visitors will need to enter most European (Schengen) countries for short stays. Like ESTA, it's a pre-screening tied to your passport, not a visa.
ETIAS rules, start dates, and fees are set by the EU and subject to change — check the official source for whether it applies to your nationality and trip before booking.
