What is a compression bags?

Also called vacuum bags, compression sacks

Compression bags are sealable pouches that squeeze the air out of clothing to shrink its volume, either by rolling the bag or through a valve. They pack bulky items like jackets and jumpers into far less space — though they don't reduce weight.

Compression saves space, not grams: a smaller bag still counts against your weight allowance, so keep an eye on the scale as well as the size.
