What is a jet lag?
Also called time zone fatigue
Jet lag is the tiredness, poor sleep, and grogginess you feel after flying quickly across several time zones, while your body clock is still set to where you started. It's usually worse flying east and eases as you adjust to local time over a few days.
Shifting your sleep towards the destination's time before you fly, getting daylight on arrival, and staying hydrated all help you adjust faster.
