What is a global entry?

Also called trusted traveler program

Global Entry is a US trusted-traveller programme that lets pre-approved, low-risk travellers clear customs and immigration faster when arriving in the United States, using automated kiosks instead of the regular queue. Membership usually includes TSA PreCheck.

You apply, pay a fee, and pass a background check and interview; eligibility and benefits are set by US authorities and can change, so check the official programme details.
