Delete your account

1. Delete in the app (recommended)

Account deletion is built into Alba and is the quickest way to remove your data:

1. Open Alba and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete account.
3. Choose a reason, then type the phrase “delete all my trips” to confirm.

Your account and the data tied to it are deleted right away — there is no waiting period and no recovery once it is confirmed.

2. Request deletion by email

If you can’t access the app, email travel@withalba.app from the address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my Alba account”. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before we proceed. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

3. What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the data associated with it, including:

• Your account and sign-in identity (email / Apple / Google).
• Your profile and the people you pack for.
• Your trips, packing lists, bags, and templates.
• Any photos and item cutouts stored with your trips.
• Trip collaboration memberships and invites you created.
• Notification and push-token records and your preferences.

Your saved travel documents are stored encrypted on your own device, not on our servers — they are removed when you delete the app or clear its data.

4. What we may keep, and for how long

After deletion we may retain a limited amount of information where we are legally required to, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements — for example, basic transaction or abuse-prevention records. Any such data is kept only as long as necessary and is not used to re-create your account. Aggregated or anonymised statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.
